2. Why Choose this J version?
* This product is designed based on Standard Dual Ubox V2 75V:
both with mature and optimized design and production artwork.
* Adapt 100V mosfet in 75v Product, keep enough safe margin. Tower-Joint Connection design makes two boards separatable and more reliable
MOSFET PART NO: JMSH1001ATL (100V 1.3mΩ N-Ch Power MOSFET) , refer to its datasheet: //drive.google.com/file/d/1NMvH76iks4N1SNl8wmcOBEDCrAd4h6nQ/view?usp=sharing
Reminds: Although the MOSFET SPEC IS 100V, still can’t use Ubox v2-J at 100v, due to other parts’ specs being less than 100v. It’s far safer to use this product under 75V
* Strengthen Hall port circuit protection and 12v/5v/3.3v/ignite port power circuit protection by recovery fuse
* Two way power on/off, the ignite key port is unique convinient design for DIY ebike and escooter
* Delicate aluminum case for better cooling and convinient installation in your diy model
* Integrate Internal 2.4Ghz receiver, support wirelss connection with Uni1 V2 remote and more feature function, extended antenal cable avoid enclosure shield signal
3. What’s the difference between the J version and the standard version:
* J version optimized and strengthened circuit protection:
Add Hall circuit protection clamp Diode
Add TVS(5V) to suppress spike on 5V circuit
Add TVS(78V) to suppress bus input spike
* Used different MOSFET.
J version used 100V mosfet
The standard version used 80V mosfet
Below is their test data difference.
Remark:
The test difference may change according to different conditions in customer’s end. Above test data is for your reference.
VESC will draw down current for protection when its temp trigger 75°C.

6. 120A Fuse Information:
* Electric Features:
Spec: 60Ax2 (can be extended to 180A) , 100V
Connector: Amass XT90PW female and male connector
* How long time will it blow?
It’s placed on positive power line
For 120A fuse, the blow current is 240A in a minute; continuous time under 120A is more than 4 hours.
Fuse data sheet:
% of Ampere Rating(In) Blowing Time
100% * In 4Hours Min
200% * In 60 Sec Max
How longer can it last if my battery spikes over 120A?
Here is a curve to show how long time it will last in certian current.
* Is 120A enough ?
1.Most of electric skateboard are not working at 120A battery current continuously, usually they are low curent, and burst current in a short time. And in the PCB it is easy to add one more fuse to extend the current to 180A.
2. This fuse current spec is for battery current, NOT for motor phase current. The current of the VESC is anchored to the running current of the motor. The supply current of the battery will not exceed the running current of the motor, and in general, the current of the battery will be much smaller than the current of the motor, especially when the motor speed is relatively low. Of course, if your motor is running at high speed and under high load, the current of the battery may be close to the current of the motor. At this time, you may consider to estimate how much fuse current you need under this situation, and the fuse can be extended to 180A at max.
* How to use it ?
Connect it between your VESC and Battery
7. And why do you need an adapter in applying a VESC in ADC mode?
* The ADC input of ESC(based on VESC) is in float mode, and there is no filtering measurement. If this input port is left floating, it is easy to be interfered by electronic interference, and ESC will be misjudged by the signal voltage that requires the motor to run.
The symptom is: the throttle is unstable and easily interfered; if the throttle ADC input is unplugged or the throttle cable is disconnected, the ESC(based on vesc) is very easy to continue working to control the motor and can’s stop it.
* Most of the ebike and scooters thorttle on the market are 5v, and such throttle control signal is accordingly above 0-4v, while the working voltage of ESC(based on VESC) is 3.3V,so the throttle signal voltage exceeds the upper limit of ESC (based on VESC), it will affect the normal operation of ESC, and even cause ESC failure
* Due to wiring complexcity, it’s easy to wiring wrongly and damage the ESC.
FAQ:
FAQ:
1. Will other VESC be compatible with Ewheel ADC adapter V3?
Yes, it works with other VESC and normal ESC(Non-VESC), but still have some difference on the power supply for the lights/horn function.
Ubox(single /dual) : there is 12v power supply port(fan port), which can supply power to the ewheel ADC adapter’s output parts(horn and lights etc.)
Other VESC: mostly only have 5v output, you need to source 5v horn/lights to work with ewheel adc adapter V3

② Connect both two UART cables in Ubox, if you want to run two motors independently, then need to turn off Ubox internal can bus
③ Cruise function works by a switch
④ Reverse function works by a switch
⑤ This kind of brake lever has an internal switch, it can trigger the brake light
How to program it in VESC TOOL?
We’ll send you the user manual by JPG. photos if you need it

Top Questions About Ubox V2 75V/100V
1. Can I build a 4WD board with Ubox V2?
Ubox V2 is specially designed for 4wd.
The Ubox V2 has two CAN sockets: in and out, the 5V pin of CAN IN socket, is just for trigger on this Ubox’s own power source, the 5v pin of CAN OUT socket, can provide 5V power to other devices(eg. another Ubox V2). This will take the advantage of 12V power source of each Ubox.
2. Can I make a 4WD with Ubox V1 and Ubox V2?
Yes, V2 can be CAN cable triggered on, and let the V2 serve as secondary ESC. Do it in following steps:
step1 : Power button plug into Ubox V1 either side
step2: CAN cable connect from Ubox V1 to the CAN-in of Ubox V2.
Attention: V1 and V2 have different ESC FWs, please make sure to download corresponding firmware from our website
3. When I configuring the 4WD, the two Ubox’s behaver is confusing, what’s happening?
When combine the U-remote and two Ubox, the receiver in Ubox will report data to remote, when two Ubox are reporting to remote, they will confusing. This can be solved by disable one of the two Ubox’s receiver function:
3.1 Shutoff remote and Ubox.
3.2 Plug power button into the Ubox you want to disable
3.3 Click button to power on this Ubox.
3.4 When button’s greed LED solid, continually click the button 9 times, then wait 1S, the LED will turn off, then light again. Disable is done.
3.5 How to check the receiver is disabled?
In normal, when power on, button’s LED will blink 3S to search the remote signal. If it is no blink at all, the receiver function is disabled.
3.6 How to re-enable receiver function?
Repeat above steps, in step 4, click button 8 times, instead of 9 times.
4. How do I insert the ignite key cable in port?
Attention : get aware of the principle of how ignite key working, avoid to damage ESC, since the ignite port power supply is directly from your battery!
Ignite Key working Principle: the key turns on the positive pole of the battery voltage and returns it to the start-up circuit of the controller. The function of the GND line: it provides voltage to the voltmeter together with the positive battery line.
If there is no voltage meter, then the GND line can be left unconnected theoretically.
4.1 for 75v V2 beta version, needs to open the top pannel, because the ignite port is hidden inside
4.2 for 75v V2 formall version, just insert your cable into the corresponding port
Following explains the cable information in Ubox V2 75v beta version.
there is 3pin ignite cable in accessory pack, make sure the cable order is corresponding with the port : black–>GND, red—>Battery, white–> Ignite, and the other side connect with your voltage meter key cable accordingly.
Both 100v and 75v non beta version are inserted the ignite key cable directly, following is picture of showing 100v.
